The advent of technology and psychometric evaluations profoundly transformed recruitment processes, making them more simplified and efficient in contemporary organizational contexts. Innovations such as candidate tracking systems, smart systems platforms have revolutionized traditional hiring practices, reducing the time to hire and increase the quality of the candidate list. For example, a Society for Human Resource Management. (2020) report indicates that organizations using automated systems can reduce hiring time by up to 40%, thus allowing HR professionals to allocate resources for strategic initiatives instead of administrative tasks. In addition, the incorporation of psychometric evaluations into the recruitment process serves as a crucial mechanism for evaluating candidates’ cognitive skills and personality traits, ensuring that potential hiring is not only qualified, but also a good adjustment to organizational culture. Nikolaou (2021) postulates that organizations that employ psychometric evaluations during recruitment experience to a 50% increase in the accuracy of candidate’s assessments when predictive validity is taken into consideration.
